Vapiano, located in Manchester city centre, is the perfect balance between freshly made Italian food but it also offers a relaxed, casual dining experience. You watch your food being cooked fresh in front of you, which certainly gives me a little enjoyment knowing that everything from the pizza dough to the pasta is all freshly cooked right before your very eyes.

I was kindly invited to come experience Vapiano earlier this week and as Italian food is by far my favourite cuisine, it did not disappoint. Vapiano also has bloody good offering of vegetarian food too. I didn’t felt like I was missing out because I don’t eat meat either. They also have vegan options too, its super refreshing to see that more restaurants are taking note of this.

My boyfriend and I ordered a huge margarita pizza, ravioli stuffed with ricotta and rocket drenched in cherry tomatoes and pine nuts (my fav). I obviously had to have an aperol spritz because …well ..why the hell not it was a Monday night haha.

The dessert though… we were stuffed but I couldn’t let myself miss out ! A creamy cheesecake with fruity strawberry sauce along with a mix of white and milk chocolate, biscotti biscuit and lots of cream! I rolled out of there by the end! You can easily get carried away at Vapianos as you just pay for everything via a card.

I think Vapianos is not the most romantic of places however, if you want a cute, casual date night then its perfect! My boyfriend and I share  a great love for food and especially Italian food so we were very happy people leaving there!
