1. Taking things personally 

Instead change your mindset to understand that you cant control peoples emotions – only your own.

2. Holding on to the past 

Instead be grateful and say thank you for your past as it has made you who you are today.

3. Obsessing and calling others lives ‘goals’ (I dislike this word ‘goals’)

Instead work on yourself, for you, after all this is your shot at life, don’t waste it obsessing over someone else achievements. Create goals for yourself (but don’t be too strict, be open minded) visualise yourself achieving them every day. I like to do this as a little movie in my mind, I love it, it gives me fire in my belly. Get creative – think big, be imaginative. what are your wildest dreams, how can you take action and make them come true?

4.Sleeping in late (mornings are the best time of the day) 

Instead Try to wake up 10 minutes earlier every morning. Have something to look forward to to get you up ( for me its coffee and pancakes) Spend 30 minutes of your morning dedicated to only yourself. Read, journal, meditate – anything that feels good for you.

5. Eating shitty foods

Instead stay balanced – Value your health above ANYTHING – it is the most important thing. Eat food from the earth (plant food) that fuels you.

6. Complaining

Instead replace every negative word that comes out of your mouth in to a positive. for example “ I hate my job, I don’t want to go today” ——  TO – “It might not be the job for me forever but  Im really grateful that I have a job that helps me to survive in that crazy world and life the way I want to today”

7. Not living in the moment

Instead wake up everyday and list 5 things you feel grateful for in this moment it could be something as simple as your cup of coffee ( this is a regular in mine hehe)

Chew your food slowly. Feel your drink slide down your throat. Listen intently and look in to peoples eyes when they are talking to you.
